Bonjour chers et chères collègues,

Voici mon segment:

The concepts of ‘whole community’ and ‘upstream approach’ to palliative
care are supported through IH’s palliative knowledge translation strategy
for *primary curricula* (Learning Essential Approaches to Palliative Care
(LEAP) and the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association).

Source utile
Health care professionals are unfortunately not taught to work in teams,
particularly interdisciplinary and diverse teams. In The Rainbow Report
(1989) the Northem Alberta Institute of Technology argued that, in*creasing
emphasis must be placed in the primary curricula of all medical and health
care training on the concept of the team approach to health care delivery.*
This focus should be a requirernent for the acceptabiliw (and funding) of
each educational program by the Department of Advanced Education (Vol. 1,
p. 45). This section reviews a limited amount of literature involving
integrated health and social service models or approaches, and the
significance of social or environmental determinants of health. Authors
such as George (1 9871, Sutherland and Fulton (1992), Evans and Stoddart
(1994), and various government-mandated reports were reviewed for this
purpose.

primary signifie
